Becca and Pete’s wedding was in the centre of Bristol at the registry office. This was followed by their wedding reception at Westbury-on-Trym village hall. I started the day with Becca, her bridesmaids and her mum at their house for some bridal preparation photographs. As you can see from this photograph, she had a beautiful wedding bouquet.
Bristol’s registry office has three beautiful rooms to choose from and to get married in. For Becca and Pete’s wedding, they chose the biggest of the three due to the number of friends and family attending. I grabbed some photographs of the chaps before the arrival of the bride. The ceremony was lovely and personal with two readings to add that extra special touch to the wedding. I was able to grab some photographs of the bride and groom in the entrance hallway, a simple setting that works very well, as you can see from the images below. We then grabbed some confetti photographs before leaving for the reception.
The Wedding Reception
If you have never been to Westbury-on-Trym village hall, I can assure you that it’s no ordinary village hall. It’s a beautiful building built in 1869 that’s a wonderful place to hold your wedding reception and party. Whilst we waited for the last few guests to arrive, I captured some lovely photographs of Becca and Pete in the grounds of the hall. It was lovely to see the daffodils had survived the recent bad weather. After photographing the last few group shots, it was time for the meal. This was followed by lots of dancing.
Becca and Pete’s Wedding
This was a lovely wedding that was, most of all very relaxed from start to finish. As a result, photographing such lovely people who were smiling all day made my job an easy one. Click here to see more of my work
