Another fantastic wedding to share with you, with from this weekend. I photographed Bethany and Stephen’s wedding in Bristol with their reception at Goldney Hall. One of the larger weddings this year with around two hundred friends and family joining the happy couple in their church. My day started with photographs of the girls getting ready at a local hotel. I then soon made my way to the church to meet up with Stephen and his groomsmen for some photographs. After the service, we grabbed a few photographs of the bridal party before tea and cake inside the church. I then photographed the whole wedding outside the church before heading off to Goldney Hall for the reception.
Bethany and Stephen’s wedding reception
Goldney Hall is a Hall of Residence belonging to the University of Bristol and a wonderful place to hold your wedding reception. The grounds are superb as you can see from Bethany and Stephen’s wedding photographs. We were very lucky with the weather allowing all the wedding guests the opportunity to relax in the gardens. This allowed me to grab some wonderful reportage photographs of the bride and grooms friends and family enjoying the day.
It was then time for me take to do a lap of the grounds photographing the bride and groom. This ensured we captured some wonderful wedding photographs of the happy couple in a variety of settings. After the meal, I had the time to capture some documentary style wedding photographs before everyone headed back inside for the Ceilidh. The dance floor was soon full of wedding guests all having fun. It was during this time I noticed the shy turn a little red. I was then a race to set up my equipment some the moment the bride and groom finished dancing, I could grab them for a spectacular ending to their wedding photographs. As you can see this all went to plan and Bethany and Stephen have a wedding photograph to remember this magical time.
