I photographed Milan and Sam’s wedding at Rookery Manor. This is one of Bristol’s most popular wedding venues. I have worked here many times over the years and never get tired of capturing great wedding photographs on their beautiful grounds. Milan and Sam were such great fun to photograph. Along with their guests, they made my day very enjoyable. Evan before the wedding ceremony I capture lots of photographs of their friends and family who were enjoying the June sunshine. Milan and Sam chose a very personal humanists ceremony with some wonderful insights into how they met.
Milan and Sam’s wedding
After the ceremony, we made our way into the gorgeous gardens to continue the calibrations. Whilst the happy couples friends and family congratulated them I captured the moment in a reportage style. Soon it was time for the group photographs starting with the everyone shot. This was taken from the balcony of the manor before moving down to the smaller group photographs. After the group photographs, it was time to quickly make our way around the grounds with Milan and Sam. We were able to grab some greats shots, some of which you can see here. The water was used to great effect, I do love a nice reflection wedding photograph.
After the wonderful meal, it was time to party. Sam and Milan did this in their own unique style with their amazing band. Before the band started to play Milan and Sam asked for photographs with them. This was a great chance to bring in Milan’s pride and joy, his Ford Mustang. I know both the band and Milan and Sam loved the photographs.
