It’s not often I go to a wedding venue I have never heard off, especially when it’s close to Bristol. This was the case for Sophie and Ben’s Wedding which was held at the wonderful Blaisdon Hall. As you can see, this is a spectacular house and home to just two people a husband and wife team. I’m bad enough at losing my keys in my three bedroom house, can you imagine losing them in this manor.
Sophie, her flower girls and page boys all got ready in one of the fabulous rooms that Blaisdon hall has to offer. The room was full of excitement with all the anticipation of what lay ahead. The bed was huge, so big as you can see, I managed to get them all onto it for a fun photo. The church was a two-minute drive away, perched up on a hill with stunning views. Ben and the boys were a little delayed (in the pub) but made it in time for me to grab some great photographs of them. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces as their friends and family arrived for the wedding. After the wedding, we all made our way outside into the glorious sunshine. I able to capture those special moments as friends and family congratulated the new Mr and Mrs Crowther.
We soon made our way down the hill to the splendid manor house. I was certainly spoilt for choice as were to pose the happy couple. We made our way around the grounds which were stunning in every way. As well as the beautiful manor house some of the views made for equally stunning backdrops. This was a great wedding to be a small part of at such a great venue. Having said that, it was not the Manor house or the church, not even the beautiful weather that made this wedding special. No, as always it was the people.
